Meet Vocal Coach & Music Educator Ag~Ángeth Áyóm

South Sudanese musician Ag also known as Ángeth Áyóm is a multi talented singer, songwriter, and actress.

Ag started teaching singing lessons in 2022 and over the years, she noticed their was a lack of diverse singing teachers in the Australian Industry. Ag has since expanded her practice to include various music education services.

She graduated with a Bachelor of Music Contemporary and went on to further her training in musical theatre, where she’s gone on to tour around Australia on various theatre productions. Ag is currently working towards her Master of Teaching degree.

Some of Ag’s most notable moments include performing her debut single Beauty Within at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra. As well as performing the South Sudanese National Anthem at Rod Laver Arena on National TV for the Boomers Vs The World Game.

As a neurodivergent African woman. Ag~Ángeth Áyóm is an advocate for people with disabilities and seeks to inspire emerging POC artists. She champions greater representation of the BIPOC and disabled communities within the entertainment industry.
